Aunty June is a well-known Darwin identity –a traditional owner of Larrakia Land, the country on which Garramilla (Darwin) is built and the surrounding area.

Kay Villaflor is a proud Larrakia women with a large widespread family that has influenced her upbringing building strong connections with country and community

Serena Dalton (Dalabon & Gurindji)
Serena Dalton is CEO of Grassroots Action Palmerston, who works out of Aunties Place, a community led safe space. Serena advocates for, and mentors youth.
Serena creates programs that directly address the systemic challenges Aboriginal youth face. Passionate about her community and making change.
Jacqueline Dysart
Jacqueline grew up on the lands of the Larrakia people. She is a social work manager and PhD candidate with Melbourne University.
She undertakes research and provides support for community led change.
